Serving Our Clients
Rowley and Reynolds Forensic Engineering participates in the legal process for a wide range of clients.
First and foremost, we work for the aquatic safety of the public by advancing the understanding of why aquatic-related accidents happen and how to prevent them. At the same time, we support the legal process for our clients with our pursuit of the truth with strict adherence to proven engineering principles and the use of modern investigative and modeling technology.
Our clients often include:
– Attorneys: we are often retained by attorneys as expert witnesses in various legal proceedings stemming from aquatic accidents, engineering/construction failures, and other incidents. Both plaintiffs and defendants retain us for our services. We evaluate each matter on a case by case basis. Whichever side retains our services, we pursue the truth about what happened without bias.
– Insurance Professionals: insurers have a vested interest in discovering the contributing factors of an accident or other incident with the information available in order to determine liability. Insurers need aquatic industry information in order to understand risk factors in establishing premiums, policies, and guidelines.
– Facility Operators / Property Owners: facility operators of aquatic facilities and private homeowners with a swimming pool and/or spa sometimes encounter aquatic accidents, engineering/construction failures, or other incidents. Understanding how these occurred is possible through fact-driven investigation and empirical analysis.
– Aquatic Industry Professionals (Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and Pool Service Companies): people who design, engineer, build, and service aquatic facilities may become involved in various legal proceedings stemming from aquatic accidents, engineering/construction failures, and other incidents.
