Seth began his career in aquatics at a young age, swimming competitively beginning at age 6 and culminating in two trips to YMCA Nationals in high school. He also played water polo in high school and college and continues to play today with his local master’s team in Denver, Colorado.

Seth began working in aquatics in high school as a lifeguard in 2008 in Eugene, Oregon. He spent five years as a lifeguard, including three as a Head Lifeguard, before being promoted to Aquatics Coordinator. In that role he was responsible for scheduling and overseeing a facility that routinely saw more than 1000 patrons every day.

While earning a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Denver, Seth also interned for Counsilman-Hunsaker & Associates in their Denver Office, getting his first exposure to the design and construction of commercial swimming pools.

In 2015, Seth graduated with his degree and began working as a Project Engineer for Heating and Plumbing Engineers, Inc, a mechanical contractor that worked throughout the Front Range of Colorado. In just over two years in that role, Seth was managing projects independently including the construction of the Bison Ridge Recreation Center in Commerce City, Colorado.

Seth began the next phase of his career in joining Group 14 Engineering, PBC as a Commissioning Engineer where he performed the final testing on HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and life safety systems on newly constructed buildings throughout Colorado. He quickly progressed to Commissioning Project Manager where he was also responsible for managing other staff, project finances, and client relationships.

While at Group 14, Seth’s work included construction administration and functional testing of the A West and B West Concourse Expansions at Denver International Airport, one of the most iconic airports in the country. Seth was also primarily responsible for the smoke control system testing at the University of Colorado Anschutz Health Sciences Building that included an eight-story atrium.

Seth’s lifelong involvement in aquatics and technical expertise make an excellent contribution to a positive aquatic experience.
